Gastón Mazzacane Facts
On March 12, 2000, Gastón made his debut at the Australian Grand Prix.
His father named him Gastón after fellow professional driving racer Gastón Carlos Perkins.
Gastón’s last name Mazzacane in English means “Kill The Dog”.
He is a pay driver and as of 2020, he was one of the most recent racers for Argentina’s Formula One team.
In 1999, he made his debut as a test driver for Minardi in Formula One.
He signed with Phoenix Finance who ran the DART team in the past but he was unable to race with them in the 2002 FIA Formula One World Championship as they had been banned.
Gastón traveled to the United States to race for Dale Coyne Racing in the 2004 Champ Car season.
